On the whole a good experience - some excellent teachers but some not so good.....

The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

The best was that several of the teachers were excellent - I certainly learned a lot of German at GLS. It is also generally a nice and convenient working environment.

The worst was that we had too many changes of teacher (altogether 6 over 4 weeks for the standard course) and that one of them was not good. Fortunately I only had this teacher for one of my four weeks but still, that was a concern given that one only has a certain amount of time to get value for money. Still, as noted above, others were truly excellent teachers whom I was lucky to be taught by.

Your recommendations for other students

On the whole I'd recommend GLS, but I would probably caution students that a lot depends on which teacher you get. If you're only coming for a week or two it could make a big difference.
