The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
Even though we only attended class at GLS for a week, I think I learned a lot and more over I got over my "fear" of speaking German. I would have liked to attend the course for longer, and thereby have become even better.
The teachers were great, well-prepared and able to accommodate the different levels of German spoken in class.
The testing was a bit nerve-wrecking and perhaps we were not placed in the ideal class taken our level of German into consideration. However, we were learnt a lot and the teachers helped us the best way possible.
I didn't attend some of the after school activities, but I heard from some of the other students that they were good fun and a way to get to know the other students at campus. We didn't stay at campus either, so therefore I couldn't rate the accommodation above.
Your recommendations for other students
Attending a course at GLS is worth your while, since the standard of the materials, teachers etc. is rather high.
You will learn quite a lot given you are active in class and do your home work :-)
The location of campus is fantastic - right in the heart of young and fun Berlin.
I would love to come back some other time.
