The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

Great school for students who already know a considerable amount of grammar

I loved how many resources GLS had from the full time reception, cafeteria, book store, after school activities and workshops, etc. The lack of English spoken and full immersion/integration was also very helpful.

What I didn't love was the structure of the course, or lack thereof. Any of the grammar lessons I had (B1.1-B2.2) lasted only a few minutes, and they were not formally structured. The grammar rules were just casually mentioned, we did a few exercises, and we were expected to know if after just that one time. We never learned why we need the rules, when we use it, compared it to other rules, etc. This was the most confusing and challenging part of GLS for me. I understand this was probably to make students study on their own time at home, but at such a high tuition and time commitment, I wasn't expecting to leave the classroom with any confusion or doubts at all. If I hadn't already learned most of the grammar rules of B1 in another language school in Berlin, I would have been almost completely lost for most of the course.
