The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
Great ambience, Great staff, Great teachers, the activity guide was very helpful
I wish the textbook was followed from beginning the end.
The battleground (kriegsfeld) of German, the propositions, need to be explained right at the beginning.
Reading aloud select German passages to challenge pronunciation
Your recommendations for other students
We fooled around Berlin every afternoon, which was good, but didn't do enough homework, which was bad.
Seek out a more homogenous class.
Ask the teachers to make you read some difficult German passages aloud to clarify pronunciation, particularly at the end of words
I would recommend Lisa Kahlen' interactive CD, German Grammar Made Easy. Hodder Education
Inexpensive!
I wish I had started to learn the language earlier in my life
