The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
The course and the teachers were all great! Well educated, pedagogical, friendly and helpful. I like that there’s a focus on conversation. And that one learns a lot about German society. I also like that the standards course only takes up half the day so one can do other stuff, like work, in the afternoon if one likes. Campus is nicely situated and the facilities were ok, but half of the computers in the computer room were always malfunctioning. After class activities were ok but a bit repetitive after a while. And too much history focused. Anyway, the course was quite expensive but worth the money!

Get your own flat outside GLS, way cheaper and a way to get to know Germans (if you share). Try to talk as much German as possible from the beginning, that's how you learn! And don't forget to take part in what Berlin has to offer, it's a great city!
