The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
i loved the gardens and the location. i felt very lucky with my 2 mornings teachers: they were both dedicated, caring, professionnal and very nice.
I hated the wasching machine system at GLS. I think it is way too expensive for a SCHOOL! it's a very cheap attitude.
the wifi at the school is actually a big problem and many people were complaining about it. it is too slow.
and i think it isn't welcoming at all to always organise events that dosoen't concern the students and display food every where that they cannot touch ("NOT FOR STUDENTS"). this didn't make me feel like we were part of a school but more renting a room in buisness center.
Your recommendations for other students
very beautiful in summer. find your own place to live, wash your clothes and surf the web

18.07.2013 Loïse, thank you for your feedback! As far as the washing machines go - GLS charges 2 € per hour, like public washing saloons off campus. We charge per hour because we need students using a machine to return the key instead of keeping it all day. We just want to offer the service with 7 machines and 7 dryers, so that you don´t have to leave the campus in order to wash. To improve it, students will get a free portion of washing powder from now on. And of course, should they prefer to wash off campus, GLS staff at the reception will give them directions where to go. About WiFi: we worked on that, installing many new access points. It should be much better now.
