A very good language school - as long as you have the money to stay longer than a month

Had two very good intensive teachers
The Bad: very slow teaching in morning classes. Unfortunately it takes about 10 to 15 days to finish a 'Lektion' when a week is enough, at least for the average to very good students. I would have liked to learn more within a month time-frame. I started for three weeks with two teachers, but in my last week one of my teachers was replaced. The new teacher that joined our class was more suitable and I managed to learn more in a week than in the past three weeks.
However I have to say that teachers were all very helpful and delivered very good lessons.
Your recommendations for other students
Attendance is key - not only for yourself but for fellow students too: too many times, my teachers had to go through a grammatical point again and again as some students had missed the class the day before and were expecting the teachers to repeat.
I was puzzled to see that about half of the class had dropped after two weeks and were only coming time to time - most of the time late and only for the second block class. I am not here to judge anyone, but regarding the price of such institute, I would expect students to be a bit more responsible. This, too often, was at the detriment of the class as a whole, especially in intensive where it happened that only two students were present, and once myself only.
Comments:
12.08.2013 Maeva, danke für deinen Kommentar! Especially for the one regarding attendance. As all students are adults, we don´t want to introduce rules enforcing attendance. Probably most of those who skip classes are not aware that their skipping bothers other students who are more serious. In future teachers will point that out when a new class starts, which will hopefully help reduce the skipping.
