A lot of AMAZING teachers, a few bad ones. Too long to go through levels (longer than most language schools) and just for this reason i'm not 100% sure i would recommend GLS for a friend that want to improve quickly. Otherwise, really happy with most of m

The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
A majority of really really good teachers. Great teaching methods, very interesting and nice people, lots of opportunity to improve my oral skills.
A few really slow and not appropriate teachers. They are not bad people, bit their classes was BORING, slow and I had the feeling I wasn't learning anything! No interactive work, no ability to drive a class through a debate, uninteresting lessons...
Another really low point of GLS is that it takes TOO LONG to finish a level. It is not normal to use 2 books for each level! I was there 6 months and if I hadn't said anything I would only have done B1+ and B2.1! In 6 months! Because i spoke my mind (which wasn't really welcomed nicely) I ended up in C1 at the end. It should be made easier for students which progress quicker to go to a higher level. But then, the school would earn less money I guess...

Don't hesitate to speak your mind if the class is too slow for you and ask to change class! If a teacher is nit good, say so!
