The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
A great school for learning German with great supplemental activities and leaders
Best - Jens - who led Stammtisch and the walk around Prenzlauer... He gave his "all" and was full of energy, spoke slowly for us and is truly an asset to the school... He added so much to my week. Also the cafeteria for lunch was great - a time to relax with students. The only downside was doing homework cut into my sightseeing time - but it is important you do the homework and keep up with classwork.
Your recommendations for other students
One week was too short to be there, but having students come in and out of classes worked smoothly... the teachers are good at it...As a student you have to get up to speed quickly. I wanted to try out GLS and my experience was so positive I plan to come back for 1-4 months in the future... Great teachers and staff and amazing students and stories of why they are there - from all over the world... All the students I met were eager to learn German and motivated.
