The 10-hectar campus is situated in the idyllic foothills of the Alps directly on the west bank of lake Ammersee and includes 27 buildings and a private dock on the lake. It is a fully state-accredited secondary school with a languages branch and an economics branch. Half of the German students live at home, most boarders are international students. Students are accommodated in different boarding houses on campus in comfortable double and triple rooms with ensuite bathroom and WiFi. They are looked after by dorm parents and mentors. The school offers freshly prepared meals each day, preferring local, seasonal and organic products and ingredients from the region.
For health and medical support, an on-campus infirmary and a staff of trained nurses, supported by a local doctor, are available to the students.
